Attorney Tsai Ching-yu, from Oz & Goodwin Global Law firm, representing the Taiwan Bar Association delegation, participated in the 36th LAWASIA (The Law Association for Asia and the Pacific) Annual Conference held in Bengaluru, India from November 24 to 27, 112th year of the Republic of China. During the conference, she delivered a presentation titled "Breaking the Glass Ceiling: Women Lawyers’ Experiences in a Male-Dominated Profession from Taiwan’s View," shedding light on the challenges and triumphs of Taiwanese female lawyers in overcoming gender disparities within the legal industry. Ms. Tsai's insightful report highlighted the strides made in Taiwan towards dismantling gender barriers and fostering a more inclusive legal landscape. The presentation aimed to contribute valuable perspectives to the ongoing global conversation on gender equality in the legal profession.
